Assessment
This service encompasses a thorough evaluation of your specific assistive technology requirements, followed by trials of suitable products currently on the market. Once the ideal solution is identified, a detailed report is prepared to substantiate how it fulfils NDIS funding criteria. The process typically involves two face-to-face sessions including an initial assessment and at least one assistive technology trial.
Home Modifications
Assessment
The home modification service includes a comprehensive assessment of you, your home and individual accessibility needs. It involves organising one or two builder consultations for pricing and compliance with Australian Builder’s standards and creating a comprehensive report and detailed drawings of the proposed modifications.
Funding estimate:
Complex home modifications: 20 hours plus travel
Minor home modifications: 10 hours plus travel
Manual Handling
Assessment
This assessment aims to establish safe and consistent practices for client transfers and movement. The process involves initial assessment and observation of current manual handling practices, followed by equipment trials if necessary and production of a detailed step-by-step report. Option for video creation in lieu of a report (subject to funding and client preference).
Funding estimate:
New manual handling plans: 15 hours plus travel
Review and update of existing ATOT manual handling plan: 5 hours plus travel
